I remember early EEG demos where you'd blink and the whole system would break... so seeing designs like Cognixion’s that actually expect ambiguity and work around it is super refreshing.
And yes, the regulatory weirdness is the elephant in the room. These hybrid systems live in gray zones, and it’s both a pain and a moat. Whoever figures out how to play that in-between game early might end up defining the category itself.
